Default Big Brother Program on in January

The following article is from Teletext online.

Oh brother - it's back

Just when reality-TV haters thought it was safe to turn on the box again, Big Brother is back.

Ads have begun appearing on C4 inviting wannabe stars, willing to be locked in a house for nine weeks and filmed 24 hours a day, to apply.

An hour-long show, called Big Brother Small World, is also planned on Jan 5 to drum up more interest.

A C4 spokeswoman said: "Big Brother is back and it will be even bigger."

"On Big Brother Small World, stars from the show, including this year's winner Brian Dowling, will be interviewed about life in the house and the impact since leaving.

"It will also look at the worldwide Big Brother phenomenon, featuring clips of shows around the world."

Those wanting to apply must record a video in which they say why they should be chosen - recent housemate Elizabeth stripped in hers to get noticed.

A questionnaire (available at Channel4.com) must also be completed, with questions such as "What is the worst thing you've ever said to anyone?", "What is the greatest sadness in your life?" and "Have you ever had mental health problems?"

Entries must be received by Feb 8 and selection days will be held round the country during February and March.

C4 is so far refusing to say whether it will return to the same venue in East London for the new series.

A start date is also yet to be announced, but is likely to be July.

Stuart mentioned on his website that he had recently been filming a program to publicise BB3 that was going out in the new year. this must be it guys.
