Default BB11 Should Be More Like BB1 Anyone Agree?

10 contestants go in, just the 10.

Emotional bonds form sooner, and as a result, deeper, more hurtful, attacks on each other will follow.

So, by just keeping it to 10 NORMAL housemates, relationships will be there, arguments will be there, it will have everything.

If someone breaks a rule 3 times, they get kicked out, and may poss be replaced if before the halfway point.

Make tasks last for only 1 day, so that the housemates HAVE TO entertain themselves.. this will ensure trouble

Just my opinion.

How would you like to see bb11 go?

i'd rather they get genuinely interesting/quirky people in instead of the boring lot we had this year

It should also be 8 weeks only, it drags on way too much nowadays

[rquote=2528530&tid=145715&author=eggdavid]i'd rather they get genuinely interesting/quirky people in instead of choosing housemates just because they're gay or black -- 4/12 of the housemates of BB10 are gay, why? they're not interesting people, they were chosen because they're homosexual, to please the politically correct kiddies[/rquote]

GAY OR BLACK??? Are you Insane? Where do you live? Norfolk? Because I can assure you, there are gays and blacks IN EVERY town and city.

And why do you suggest gays and blacks should be barred from big brother?

You, mate, need to be barred from life with opinions like that. Shocking!

STRONGLY AGREE with your sentiments and have been calling for a move BACK to that direction for years.
There is hope:
BBUSA eventually degenerated into BB9. Total Rubbish (aka garbage) with a bunch of Jerry Springer dysfunctional neurotic a-holes shoved in a house to be stupid that even trash-loving teenage viewers said 'ENOUGH!'
and,
BBUSA 10, to their credit, yes, it actually did make a big stride getting back to the 'BB1- 3' feeling and concept and wow was it ever a lot better!

I strongly agree with your direction and have been crying out for it too,
but,
This will sound contradictory but I'd rather BB11 doesn't necessarily bother.
What I'd rather see is them end this with a BB11 'All-Stars' that is really a summary of the previous 10,
and,
Then allow some other channel pick up BB. Maybe even let a season pass by.
Let an entirely new production team 'reboot' Big Brother and let them take your advice and very much focus on taking BB back to its original concepts.
This doesn't mean 'go backwards' in terms of set design, new concepts for tasks, new 'look and feel',
but,
having all of that built into a much more pure and fundamental concept last seen in BB1.
You can call it BB1.1 if they want.

Yes, you mentioned this important thing and I will too:
You may get LESS 'superficial dramas' with the original concept,
but,
You get MORE 'deep and sophisticated psychological drama' with some of the original premise concepts.

I don't know. It does seem they will lose a lot of the viewers who want to see 20 year olds with big tits throwing tea in each others faces or 'crazy dressed show-offs' putting on childish insults for the Diary Room clips,
but,
I really think they would GAIN a lot of the original core audiences and new adult viewers?

People would be complaining that it's too boring. BB just needs to change the game.

A combination of BB1 and the evil side from BB5 would be nice to see. Nowadays the show is too long and too many housemates.

I'd say more like BB9. Very basic series with mainly normal people but still with a few small twists here and there for good measure. I think the biggest problem is the series length so we need ridiculous amounts of housemates to keep interest during the middle weeks. Cut it back to 10 or 11 weeks, 12 housemates on launch night then another 4 during week 3 or 4 to shake things up a bit and that would work so much better.
