Default My thoughts on the final day

I'm glad to see BB10 come to and end. Not because this series hasn't been good - because it's been great. Only because once again the public got rid of good housemates and now in it's final week it's become boring.

Unlike previous BB finals however, I am not even a little bit excited as a write this. I would like Sophie or Rodrigo to win (but seeing as C4 took away Irish voting I can't really care, can I?).

At the start of this years show I was left disappointed by the twist, in fact I've been left feeling disappointed by all of BB's twists this year. The "non-housemates", the "anniversary weeks" and well, "Issac". BB have a lot of thank this years housemates for because if it wasn't for them carrying the show - BB10 would have fell flat on it's arse.

Saying that - we have had one or two great tasks this years. Maybe not as good as BB5's Boot Camp or BB6's Box Task but this years Alice In Wonderworld task for me is the most memorable (mainly because of Hira and the argument outside if the task room) and also I enjoyed the Italy task.

I think this years housemates have been one of the best yet tbh. Unlike last years, I think all of them have been memorable, decent, and had they stayed longer could have been potential winners. Even Saffia, and Beinazir. There has been no housemate that I have really disliked this year (except of Freddie, but I can say he was a good housemate). I think some housemates carried the show more than others - Noirin, Sree, Siavash, Bea, Halfwit, Marcus, Charlie and Rodrigo being the main big stars of this years show I think.

Coming up to tonight final, I would actually be happy to see any of them win. Although I'd least like to see Siavash to win because of the way he has acted over the past 1/2 weeks - he has been a great housemate, and I suppose since he is trying so hard to win - it wouldn't be a bad thing that he won. I want Sophie to win, but only slightly over Rodrigo. I want her to win because I think she would represent BB10 perfectly and because we have never had a winner like Sophie from a main series of Big Brother. I think winning BB would do a lot for her career as well.

I think for BB11, Big Brother really need to just get the mix right. They need both good tasks and good housemate - not one or the other. On BB's axe - I have no doubt in my mind that BB will be back for BB12 at some point and on C4.

Good luck to all housemates fans tonight - no BB final is predictable and really anyone can win! I'll be enjoying the show tonight with a pizza and coke and alone (I hate watching BB with other people grrr). I'll be on TiBB during shows and after final tho. Enjoy the show tonight.

if it wasn't for marcus big brother would have been dreadful this year, he was the life and soul of BB10 -- freddie and siavash were cool too when the three musketeers rebelled against big brother but the irrepressible dark horse has been entertaining since day one, he's a top bloke and deserved to win

As I am in Ireland as well I wont be voting Good points, I said the same as well, they had some great HMs there but put no imagination or effort into making it a far better series. They could have made the best series yet had they even tried. I'm betting they're going to put even less effort into next years as this years ratings were so bad. Hopefully another TV station will pick it up (hopefully a channel that I have!!) and inject a new lease of life into the show cos it's badly overdue!!

what a great post. I am really looking forward to tonights final, and would love rodrigo to win.I liked your very valid point, that BB finals cannot be easily predicted, and anyone could actually win it. i too am planning on pizza, and a nice glass of wine. Enjoy it everyone, whoever wins. They are all brilliant to have got this far.

Just another thing - I am also very pleased that finally we will have a winner, whoever it is, that will be cheered! i can't see any of tonight's finalists being booed more than cheered. The way the crowd reacted to Rachel and then Ulrika was horrific! Please - cheer them all!

I agree, I've really enjoyed this series. Thinking back to when Freddy was around, Karly and when the house was a little fun, the entertainment was great.

It's been a great show and I'd like to thank everyone on this forum. Your comments and opinions have been appreciated.

I'll be sticking around for X-Factor etc.

In comparison to other series, it has not been the best. But it has not been the worse.

But in comparison to the crap they put on TV these days, BB10 has been the best show this summer, and a good entertainment show. Sadly, it won't be recognised in any awards this year.
