But I bet they'd get huge ratings if they had the semi final on the Saturday and the final on the Sunday because the hype wont have a chance to die down.

Sunday is just an awful, boring, dull day. It signifies the end of the weekend for most people, and that's pretty depressing.
Plus with the Final being a week before the Christmas holidays for most people at school etc it wouldn't be a good idea because young children wouldn't be allowed to stay up. Overall it would just ruin the atmosphere. EDIT: Oh, and plus you should never have to wait a DAY for results of a final, it's just ridiculous. |
