"I want to clear up exactly what happened on last night's X Factor show and post my sincere apologies to anyone who took offence," she said. "I made a comment about Danyl changing the lyrics of his song.
"It was meant to be a humorous moment about the fact he had an opportunity to have fun with his song. An openly bi-sexual guy singing a song that is lyrically a 'girls' song'. Danyl and I were joking about the very same thing in rehearsals on Friday, so it carried on to the show. I'd like to apologise to anyone that was offended by my comments, it was never my intention." She went on: "I spoke to Danyl straight after the show last night and he wasn't offended or upset by my comments, and knew exactly what I was saying. I understand X Factor fans do not want the judges to get personal with judging comments. During the course of the show all the judges become close to the contestants and this is because we adore them and care about them." http://www.mirror.co.uk/celebs/news/...5875-21740964/ |

She did do something wrong. But she wasn't homophobic I don't get why everyone is making such a big fuss over it
(waits for people to start having a go at him) |

He shouldn't have changed the lyrics in the song, but it didn't make that moment with Dannii any less awkward and bizarre.
Anyhow, she's apologised so we may aswell draw a line under it and move on. |
