Default STOP blaming Simon!!

Why are people blaming Simon for Lucie's demise? Isn't it the public who pick up the phones and vote,J&E and Lucie were in the bottom two,Simon has just explained he didn't think either could win and it was fairer to take it to the public vote,so it'd the PUBLICS fault, the show is for the public to pick winners,If he had got rid of J&E he would have been called for that and vice versa,Blame the public for not voting,If this show had been a straight forward vote with no judges, she would have gone anyway,I also wanted rid of J&E the reason they are still there is down to th PUBLIC.

Because it was ultimately his hypocritical decision that sent Lucie home. He preaches it being a singing competition, but lets the obviously stronger singer just walk home.

Simon knew fine well that Lucie would go, he did it on purpose after weeks of hating on the twins and saying its supposed to be about singing then he goes and does that, its a complete joke!

Simon did what is best for his show. Lucie was never going to win anyway, Jedward generate more headlines and this creates even more

It happens every year and people think its something new. Its ridiculous

Last year with Daniel, series 4 with Same Difference, series 3 with McDonald brothers and Chico in 2005.

No he didn't he has just said he thought it would have been Lucie that stayed so don't second guess people,Lucie was obviously not as popular as you think or else she wouldn't have been in the bottom two would she?but if it makes you feel better don't blame the public ,blame Simon eh?

I could never live with myself if, in a face-off, John and Edward beat me. Lucie should have at least left with dignity.

The bottom two is nothing to judge by, love. People just assume their act is safe and don't vote some weeks.

If you're saying Lucie is unpopular, say the same for your beloved Danyl.

kthnxbye.

It is Simons fault though, the whole point of the judges vote is to stop acts going out because the public make a mistake. Tonight I believe they did... and Simon being a biased twit, abused his powers.

I have to agree with Tom here.

Simon is a very clever man and he knows what he's doing. This will create so much controversy it's untrue. Ratings will catapult through the roof next week, and so will voting, meaning more cash for Simon.

So while you're all being pissed off at him, he'll be laughing all the way to the bank. Have to hand it to him really.

The public that is the teeny boppers. Their numbers seem to be increasing by the week - either that or they are spending all their pocket money on multiple voting. The meaning of the word talent is unfortunately lost on them. In the future - maybe x-factor should be re-scheduled to CITV/CBBC. It seems they have hijacked the show. Don't think I care much any more.
