Default Jamie Archer eliminated from X Factor

Jamie Archer is the latest contestant to leave the X Factor after he and Lloyd Daniels received the least number public votes and faced the sing-off.

Jamie performed Queen's "The Show Must Go On" in the sing-off and Lloyd sang Paolo Nutini's "Last Request".

Simon Cowell lost his first act this series when it was revealed after the sing off that Jamie received the lowest votes from the public.

Judges' votes to eliminate:

Simon Cowell: Voted Lloyd to go backing his own act.
Cheryl Cole: Voted Jamie backing her own act.
Louis Walsh: Voted Jamie to go.
Danni Minogue: Voted Lloyd to go which took the result to deadlock.

The result went to deadlock and Jamie Archer was eliminated with the lowest number of votes from the public.

The remaining contestants left in the competition are Lloyd, Olly, Joe, John & Edward, Stacey and Danyl.
