I don't care about her, but the people who decided to put her in knew the public would react as they have
The public are being manipulated by the bosses of the prog, who think they are punishing her!
She will extract every ounce of sympathy from this and she is good at that
The smart way to show dislike for her would be to ignore her totally, if she had no tasks to do, she would have to cause rows for airtime, which would have made her more hated!

I agree ,but I think the public have been manipulated by the media & Katie and Pete,not just the producers of this show.

You just have to read some posters here talking about "pay back" ...for what???
Most have never even met either one of them yet feel they know everything that went on in that marriage because they read it in a tabloid .
In the majority of relationship breakdowns there are 3 sides to the story ..his side/her side and somewhere in the middle is the truth .

I have no time for either her or Saint Pete but hats of to her as she is getting all the air time as a "punishment"

I agree with you, people read the papers and think they 'know' them, but Katie does love the 'spotlight' so I suppose she sort of deserves whatever she gets!
After all it's just showbiz, my only real criticsm of Katie is that she has no real talent, but good luck to her, I don't care enough to either vote for her or read about her!

Agree with all of the above. Well said! Don't know or particularly care who is mainly at fault in the price/andre marriage - but always takes two. Don't think Peter is any angel - and he likes pubicity as much as her - comes down to the guys siding with him because he is male and the girls doing so because they feel sorry for him. Pathetic. None of our business - and we only know what we read and hear on tv.

If they don't like the woman - get her out by voting her out. Making her more popular by giving her all that attention in the tasks is going to have the opposite effect.

Maybe for some - that is too complicated to understand! At this rate I'm a celebrity is going to go the same way as x-factor. Don't think I will bother next year.

I am always amazed at the 'hatred' members on all forums seem to have for a public figure, she hasn't killed anyone, or actually affected anyones life, mildly irritating but hardly worthy of such outpourings
This is one of the few times I have watched her, and still not bothered either way, I save my hatred for politicians!!!

Thing is she is not hated by all the public, and she is not boring like some which are in,
so why would you want to ignore the big characters who bring something?
Look at Camilla, yes I liked her from ep 1(seemed a good character) but then realised she is quite boring, 24hours of her moping or Jordan? Y'know which is more entertaining, shes just got the whole being entertaining thing going for her quite naturally.
I like her, what happened to Pete was brought on by the media's obsession imo,
its in the past, she seems a good person, just misunderstood.
