Messed up case. Somethings amiss, but we haven't heard what the jury panel have.

They already have the guy responsible for Meredith's murder don't they. He's serving a jail sentence at the moment. His account of what happened:

Guede's account of the evening was that he and the victim had consensual sex, after which he became sick from a bad kebab and left the room to use the toilet. He claimed to be listening to music on his iPod while using the facilities and thus did not hear the killer enter the house. He did, however, hear Kercher scream, and emerged to see the murderer, an Italian man whom he did not know, stabbing Kercher. As the man escaped, he said "You're in trouble, you black bastard" after which Guede claims to have been so frightened that he fled the scene and made his way to Germany.

Sounds highly ridiculous amd unrealistic

Knox and her boyfriend probably know more about what happened than they claim, and have already changed parts of their story a few times. Italian law is ridiculous though. Defendants aren't required to tell the truth, and are permitted to lie and will not face perjury charges if they do. Lawyers regularly and openly tell information about a case to the media, before the case even comes to trial, and that's normal. In a case like this where the media has taken such a keen interest, most people probably made up their minds before the evidence was taken into account which must make it tricker for the Jury

Yeh the Italians ballsed it up big time. I personally think its more likely she had one attacker, its rarer for it to be a group, and he was the only one that ran off aswell (Guede). It seems to be circumstantial evidence against the other two

I am hoping they make her serve that nine months in solitary the prosecution asked for, with even the guards banned from speaking to her. I would have her in solitary for the rest of her natural miserable life, and ban any visits from anyone.

If she were my daughter, I would have disowned her long ago, her father should do the same.

She does not even have the decency to stop lying and admit her guilt, which was blatantly obvious to everyone. The only question I have, was why they had to take 13 hours to deliberate, 13 seconds was all that was needed.

For what she did to Meredith, lets hope she rots!!!!!

I agree with what the prosecution made her out to be, 'narcissistic, aggressive, manipulative, transgressive, with a tendency to dominate'.

Not only was she 'easily given to disliking people she disagreed with' but was a 'talented and calculating liar'.

I do think that they killed her, but I don't think Knox actually slit her throat, I don't think it will ever be known who actually did that.

And Guede's account of what happened is laughable! That man sounds like an idiot.

Personally I dont think she's guilty. There is no firm evidence as I have seen to prove her guilt.

And if she's evil and premeditated this murder as its been presumed, why wouldnt she have planned it a lot better? Why the change in statements? Why the 'strange' behaviour after her she was arrested? Why plan a murder in her own apartment? What motive would she have of killing a friend? Why inveigle the help of a man like Guede?

I dont have faith in our own judicial system, look at the amount of miscarriages of justice we've seen. So I would expect the Italian system and methods to be a lot worse.

In my opinion the press (as usual) have condemned Knox and her former b/f by printing damaging misleading stories paiting them in a very bad light since this whole thing started up which I think may well have swung a jury.

As in cases in this country there is no such thing as innocent until proven guilty, more guilty until proven innocent. How sad.

I agree on what information we've been given, I dont think theres enough to convict. Shes been painted as some evil bitch, but none of the evidence Ive seen makes her any different to most young people

Naturally there is going to be evidence that is not made public. Members of the public are not entitled to know all the details. She has been found guilty - so very likely she is!
