Default Yet more vote rigging scams

This is from the main C4 site:

Scamwatch - Stay Alert
Day 38, 02:50

NEWS of further vote-rigging scams have reached the ears of Big Brother.

It's up to us to stop these circulating. The more of them you know about, the less likely you will be to get your hopes up about winning a non-existent holiday or promised bundles of cash.

Here are just some of the most recent emails and text messages with tall tales and folklore that have been appearing in viewers' inboxes:

Dominique: Just received this text: "WIN £85,000 instant cash! Phone this number..."

Edward: Here's one that appeared in my email this morning. "DO NOT IGNORE THIS NOTICE, A warrant has been issued for your arrest for failing to attend court to answer charges relating to parking fines..." It goes on to say, "Please contact the clerk to the courts on this number IMMEDIATELY to arrange appearance. If you fail to do so, your local force will have no option but to arrest you."

Big Brother fan Alice sent in a story of a Grandad who found a note in a bottle while out sailing. The message simply read: "Dial this number". Alice's story went on to explain that, after dialling the Spencer eviction number, the Grandad received a cheque for a million pounds.

A number of scammers have been cashing in on the patriotism of England football fans. An attachment featuring some big brand football sponsors has been circulating, giving details of how fans can get a free England flag by dialling Spencer's eviction number. Another scam offers a prize of following England for a day by ringing a Big Brother eviction number.

Don't be fooled by these promises of fortune. Stay on your guard and keep sending us news of the latest scams you've heard about.

If you hear of a scam send the details to C4 at bb3webeditors@bigbrother.endemoluk.com and put SCAMWATCH in the subject line.
