The Cure.
They actually make albums that actually ... how do I put this ... sound different? Beautiful, lucid, visual songs. Not boring, straight up rawk and rawl for the lager generation. |

Let's not forget The Arctic Monkey's are some of the biggest culprits on the planet of using dynamic range compression techniques in the studio as a cheap way of blending all the sounds into one unimaginative, noisy, cluttered mess so it get's noticed more on the radio in the VOLUME WARS.
The result, take for instance 'I Bet You Look Good on the Dance Floor', is a bombardment of the most unsubtle, one-dimensional noise known to man. |

Also ArsenalForever I know AM's were big before NME jumped onto them but they did help propel them. Christ, I'm sorry I ever went against the almighty Monkeys. |

I guess, but its just what I think!
I love how dirty rock they sound, if you get what I mean? And brilliant riffs They would be better if they had done more albums like the first, as the 3rd album was generally **** |

I agree though it's a strange poll. Two completely different bands. Popularity contest I suppose. |
