Default Boxing Day is on Monday FFS
doesn't anybody know that if 26th of decemeber is on a saturday then it carries on to the monday

FFS get it right

Because xmas day was on a friday and boxing day a saturday it will be a bank holiday on monday

Never knew this, but it seems you're right with some research.

Boxing Day is still the day after Christmas Day though, it's just the BANK HOLIDAY Boxing Day on Monday. Am I right?

Boxing Day is traditionally celebrated on 26 December, St. Stephen's Day, the day after Christmas Day. Unlike St. Stephen's Day, Boxing Day is a secular holiday but is always on 26 December: the public holiday is generally moved to the following Monday if 26 December is a Saturday or Sunday; for example if Christmas Day is a Friday, Boxing Day holiday will be the following Monday.

Yeah but no one really pays much attention to that, let's be honest.

This is all confusing. Is Christmas over or not? Why do TV advertisements say Boxing Day is today if it's not? Why does the DFS sale NEVER end?
