TROUBLED footie legend Paul Gascoigne will be offered round-the-clock psychological support if he signs up for Celebrity Big Brother.
Producers are desperate to get Gazza in the house with his old rival Vinnie Jones, 44, but fear the ex-England ace may not be able to cope with the pressure.

Gazza, 42 - whose clubs included Newcastle, Spurs and Lazio - has battled drink and drugs since retiring in 2004 and recently had a spell in rehab.

He had consultations with BB psychologists and has been warned he would face a tough time in the house.

An insider said: "The producers really want Gazza, so they're looking at giving him 24-hour support.

"His friends are pushing for him to do it as they believe viewers will fall for him all over again.

"They think he could win - and public support could help him get over his problems."

The show starts on Sunday night.
