Default OK as a Christian I have tosay what Stephen does is NOT CHRISTIANITY

He uses religion as part of his act, but this is not what Christianity should be like!

Christianity isn't the same all over the world. People have different ways of expressing their beliefs and religion.

I don't think it's an act. He is genuinly fucked up. You know what's even more messed up, FYI? The Bible supports what he says - saying it's better to die and join God in heaven rather than renounce him.

Technically, he is being a marvellous Christian, sticking to The Bible. And showing it up for the fallacy it is to us rational thinking people.

Stephen is entitled to air his views in his own way, and just because it's different to how you would approach things, doesn't mean it's not Christianity.

It IS Christianity. He's a true Christian, and teaching others about the faith. He's a good man.

Stephen is born again Christian, and as i stated in a previous thread; those people are *****ed up. I am Agnostic myself and I come across born again people in Islam and they no different to Stephen in attitude. Even if the religion is one of Zen like Buddhism, those recently converted act like they are one with the water and the antelope etc.

Stephen is very much the "American" Christian, or the "American Conservative". He's 1 in a zillion in the US.

Matthew 6:5-15 (New International Version)

Prayer
5"And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. 6But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 7And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

No good man would ever, ever willingly let his daughter get shot. It's that simple.

That still doesn't mean that Stephen isn't a christian. I'm assuming the Christians you 'associate' with live in the same area and all go to the same church. A small group that you know doesn't represent the millions of Christians across America.

You're right, he is. The other Baldwins must love him because he takes their troubles out of the spotlight and makes their messed up lives actually look good in comparisson.

What gets really funny is when he starts preaching about somebody doing something immoral but then he'll go and do the exact same thing or worse himself. He did that quite a bit last year on the celebrity apprentice and I'm sure it'll only be a matter of time before he does it on CBB.

LOL Your so wrong, I live in Miami where you have the biggest mix of people, and none of my friends go to my church.

You have to be level headed here... This is where religion is taken to the extreme when you tell your children to allow youself to die and uphold beliifs in something they probably dont quite understand... defies belief!!!
