Default Censorship in the media

Do you agree with censoring 'offensive material' on radio and TV etc?

No. The viewer has the option not to watch.......Those that do not like should not be allowed to censor those that do. The broadcaster has the option of PIN control......It's up to parents to control what their kids are allowed to watch.....NOT THE GOVERNMENT

Ofcom and their censorship regime are a menace to the principles of freedom of choice.....The poltical correctness brigade are traitors to the principle of free speech and choice......The censorship powers of Ofcom should be stripped from them.......

Before the watershed, yes, its a simple rule and helps producers decide who their audience is

Censors are just talentless, small-minded people who get a kick out of controlling what we can and can't see and convincing parents that the media are to blame for all of life's problems.

No it does not.......Ofcoms latest brain child of a broadcasting code does nothing to clear up matters for the broadcasters.

There is a 9 0 clock water shed that in reality is not a 9 o clock water shed but a water shed that is graded as to how many or what severity of swearing is allowed.

If broadcsters dare to use a swear word more frequently that the dumb assess at Ofcom like then the broadcaster is in deep water........Problem is only the whim of Ofcom know exactly what is too much or too strong even after 9pm......The broadcaster has to second guess what the censorship brigade are thinking........
