im bout to bid on a dvd on Ebay - but the dvd is from australia - just wondering - i know sum dvds from USA dont work over hear - but do ones fromAustralia work?

It depends how they are made. If they are home made then they will be region free and they should work OK. If they are done by the production company then they might not work with out changing you player into a region free DVD player, but this is normally easily done with the remote control. You just need the right code.
Just post here if you have problems. |

Computers are worse than DVD players because of the region lock feature.... best sticking with the DVD player.
