I'm not going to say much but I played in the same team as Vinnie for about 7 years collectively and the guys a top bloke. How anyone can call Vinnie a bully is quite frankly beyond me, I haven't been a die hard follower watching the show live and so on but I do have a look at the program for an hour every night and it's just classic Vinnie Jones.
He's a leader on and off the pitch, he would shout and organise the team on saturday and would organise activities off the pitch. I won the FA cup with the man pulling off a major win against Liverpool in 1988. I read a comment referring to Vinnie as someone who would be liked by a weedy teenager or something? To be honest that's quite pathetic and a man that has done so much and is such a loving man deserves more. He's loved by most of the population for his contribution to the great sport of football. During my phase managing an international side Vinnie would always call up and congratulate me when I pulled off major and shock results even if it was against our home side. ( 1-0, 2005 ) He's a down to earth guy and what he's showing in the house is no less than the people in there deserve, that girl Sov, who the majority of the people watching didn't even know and have forgotten about already deserved every bit she got. So a "wee" phrase I learned off the boys from 2004-07, Wise the bap. |
