Default Should BB11 keep the evil theme or change it?

I dont know about you, but Im loving the evil theme in CBB! Its great to see BB actually in charge and being strict and dishing out punishments and tasks.

Should it be kept for BB11? Or a new theme introduce?

If it means a better series than BB8/10, then yes. But I would prefer if they came up with something new for the final series.

They should definitely have a more modern house during the summer.

It took me a while figuring out the theme. That was up until I noticed more punishments. In the beginning I was like WTF and OMFG but now I understand it I think maybe he should keep a theme like that in BB11. He should also call me up and retract my rejection at the auditions.

Definately.

Also I think scrap the 'theme', just go with a great series full of twists and secrets and tasks.
Make the housemates do fun, humiliating and deceitful stuff
I'm feeling vague tonight haha

Nooooooooooooooo.

BB9 had a "Zero Telerance" theme, and it was pure cack! They said "We've realised housemates are treating it like a holiday camp, now we're inforcing zero tolerance". And so they introduced the tokens, took away things like hair straighteners, hot shower, less parties, less alcohol.....and it was just lame.

And then BB10 continued the theme in certain ways, and it yet again made the show boring.

When thinking about what ideas would be good, you need to consider the housemates and if you were one of them. If you were on national TV 24hours a day, you hadn't had a hot shower/bath in days, your hair is like a birds nest because you can't use a hairdryer or straighteners, you're on basic rations, etc. Would you wanna get up and be entertaining? No, you'd wanna mong around like the tramp you feel like.

Think of the most entertaining series, such as BB7 - they got loads of parties with loads of alcohol, they were able to have hot showers whenever they wanted to and use all appliciances, and so they felt good about themselves and wanted to have fun.

If you want harsher punishments, etc. Then I think it would be a good idea to increase the prize money to Ł250,000 (Deal or No Deal get that just for opening boxes, I think the winner deserves after being locked up for 3months), and start the prize fund at ZERO!
That way HMs must earn their money, and any rule breaking, etc. will result in harsher punishments and losing money.

I agree that harsher punishments should be handed out - but to those that deserve it, not for a theme that affects the whole house.

I really like the idea of starting the prize fund at 0. It would be really interesting to see the housemates do a series-long task (something crazy that would take them forever, like running around a track for a length equivalent to the Equator or counting to 10,000,000 over 3 months in spurts in the Diary Room). If the housemates didn't pass this task at the end of the series, there'd be no prize fund, so they'd have to take it seriously!

That's too demanding and complicated. Housemates would just go "yeah, ***** that!"

Start it at zero, and then each task they pass will add money to the prize, every secret mission passed could add money to the fund, etc. And then refusing to nominate, failing tasks, etc. will result in money going down.

They kind of ruined this series by doing all the "ten year" stuff a year early, when a lot of it would be more suited for the final series.

CBB though has shown they just need to go for it - don't act like it's the final series, so don't hold back. If there's things they've wanted to do in the past but been too afraid to push the boundaries - go for it! What's the worst that can happen - the axe?

Liking all the ideas!

Espicially starting off on Ł0 and being able to in up to Ł250 000, that would keep it interesting!

How about having 2 tasks per week... One for money for the pot, and the other for an 'exemption' Allowing one person to avoid any votes against them...

HOWEVER.. They can trade this 'exemption' for More money to the pot, a party, or give it to someone else =^_^= or maybe give it in, to allow them to give 3 votes instead of 2 ...

That might be interesting.

Because, what would people do... if you won an exemption from the voting process... And BB offered you the chance to add Ł10k to the pot if you give it back... and the housemates know what you do...

If you keep the exemption, it will make you less popular, and you would have to keep winning exemptions to avoid the votes XD... But if you put the money into the pot, people may be less likely to vote for you.

ooooooh... I like that

The could also have the 'survival challenges'

The worst proformer, automatically gets put up for eviction...

The challenges will change, from mental, to physical etc...

That would make 3 challenges per week, therefore more interesting...

1. Reward Challenges (Increase in weekly budget)
2. Exemption Challenges (Win Exemption or add money to group kitty)
3. Survival Challenges (Lose, and get put up for eviction)

Great ideas cheetahfur, Ive always liked the idea of having a task, lets say on the Saturday, where the best preformer wins immunity for eviction and the wort preformer is automatically put up. And yeah the tasks should go on a router where 1 week its mental, next physical, next skill then back to mental etc..

It adds to the feel that BB is a gameshow, and your battling it out with each other to stay in, rather than just let it go to nominations and then the public vote. A lot more exciting if BB did this. Maybe the overall theme could be based on competition.

I HATE this expression. It was a social experiment that turned into a reality show. It's only a gameshow in the eyes of people with a game plan.

It's when people saw it as anything more than a gameshow that the problems began. It would be much better to put the focus on the gameplay rather than on bitching and confrontation.

I see it as a place to have fun.

If I got in the house, i would be there to entertain myself and others, nothing more.

I would be unlikley to win in my eyes, but it would be blimin nice.

As its the last series, there is nothing to be 'invited back to' As in next series haha. And the likelyhood of ever becoming famous is unlikley! Even though my partner thinks I would be awesome as a host for the next crystal maze, or kids tv show!

However I'm not so sure haha!

I am normally coming up with puzzles, riddles and games all the time at home, i have something like 20 files full of ideas! XD =^_^= but thats just me being a total wirdo hehe.

If I got on BB, and the tasks were slow and boring, and I say, won an exemption, ill offer it back for another challenge, the winner getting a bottle of wine or something, as I beleive it would liven things up! =^_^=

Well one things for sure - you're exactly the sort of person who should never be a BB housemate. (take that as a compliment I guess!)

cheetahfur.. how far did you get? and you sound fun

Yeah bb is about the experience and is long past a "social experiment" I think there should be more games and twists, etc.. and you don't need bitchiness for entertainment. Really we want the whole package, entertainment, intelligent conversations, gameplay, bitchiness, fights, drunkness, jokes, taking the mick.. etc.. lol People doing things unexpected..

And seriously - you have something here.
I'd love to see some really clever engineering people go in there and rig-up that house with all sorts of 'trap doors', illusions and alice-in-wonderland types of oddball surreal builds.
Not to constantly annoy people or distract from natural social development but for occasional strange entertainment.

What if the window shield did open and 'appear' to reveal an aquarium or how about water behind every outside window?
As if the house were submerged?
Hey.. this is not asking much as Disney and Hollywood Effects people really can pull these off fairly easily.
Can you just imagine the mind-boggling going on in there?
Or just the prank of it?
Or,
How about BBUSA's All-Star pranks where ghostly images of former-HMs were seen in mirrors?
It was really very very good.. it looked great.

One season did play with the various appliances, sinks etc in totally random places.

What if entire rooms seemed to have vanished?
What if furniture was being altered and switched in an out?
Doors moved to enter other rooms.

Personally I just love watching this kind of engineering and the prank of it,
but,
things like this also serve a huge purpose when seasons hit those stretches of boredom and inactivity or repetitiveness - it throws them into a loop and resets the brains heh

I went with 'No Theme at All' but what I wanted to say was that this last season ought to do everything possible to say to us 'Classic BB House Look' without any specific theme too far any direction,
but,
I'd also love to see something like what BBUSA did in their 'All-Stars Season' and that is to put some famous and iconic or memorable bits and pieces into the set.
For an example:
- It does seem like the over-sized ashtray for the smokers was a 'classic' and memorable bit.
(then again the bus stop was good in its own way too),
but,
You get the idea here.
BBUSA even put in some memorable objects.. from games in previous seasons or some 'notorious' incident.
Well again.. I can't even think of examples but maybe you guys can give some suggestions.

But yeah.. the last season should not be a specific theme but something that says 'ya.. that is a classic BB look I remember so well!'
A feeling of all the bygone seasons.

*yeah.. we all noticed last season was thrown together from all the 'left-overs' and 'B-Ideas' and whatnot. I don't need to see that again thanks.

We dont mess around in here our kid... You make your own bed.... *gives them wood, hammers and nails, plus, reams of material*

Hehe

That puts something into my mind...

The CHOCOLATE ROOM!

A room with 1000's of chocolates on plates, shelves etc...

All of them dark/milk chocolate in the middle...

however, say about 10 of them will have white chocolate in the middle... (one for each housemate) Each of the housemates need to find one each to win the task XD

OR they could do something with Russian dolls, one of them contains an exemption, another 3 diary room votes, etc...

OR fortune cookies
