Default The most atmospheric finale in a long time?

Anyone else think so?

It truly felt like a final and the constant thought of "what if...?" with Vinnie winning or not or if the public really have turned around with Alex or will there be a shock in store?

A brilliant end to a brilliant series, well done Channel 4!

It was a great final. With a great winner. Fantastic atmosphere.

I knew Vinnie was going to lose from the beginning. Funny how the Vinnie followers were so convinced he was going to win. LOL. I also predicted it would be like Verne last year - they were so sure he was going win but he lost.

It was one of the best finals for years.

Best final since BB5. It was an open book. BB9 was the last open book but that was a complete wet fish when Rachel was announced as the winner

I will have to 4OD it tomorrow, as I was a real traitor to BB fans everywhere and went out this evening and missed it!!
Even though I obviously know the result I'm still looking forward to seeing the final show
I know I'll still get those little butterflies you get when you don't know who's name is going to be read... even though I do...
It's a funny thing really

Well wasn't there like daily-changing bookies odds and stuff?
I thought Dane would actually win, with Jonas coming second.
Couldn't have called it really

I agree, it was an amazing finale, except Jonas being a total prick, and all the booing of Katia!

But everything else was great, brilliant winner, brilliant runner up and a loveable villian and as for the gorgeous Stephanie Beecham, Ive always thought she was stunning, elegant and classy, but she looked extra beautiful tonight!

Last years Celeb finale was awful, everyone booed (even the harmless Ben Adams), the crowd screaming insults at everyone during the interviews and a surly winner!

Big improvement!!!!

Brilliant final and fantastic result -a worthy winner and this year i didn't hate anyone who was in the final which makes a change ,there's normally one person i can't abide and las year when that non entity Ulrika won i was so hacked off ,Terry Christian was robbed but this year i backed Alex and i'm so happy he won and 65% of the final vote is just brilliant and Stephanie Beacham looked so elegant and breathtakingly stunning -wow -Love Rocky and he fully deserved his win -well done lad xxx.

one thing i really approved of was the use of exit music to cover over the boos of the chav morons that seem to attend eviction nights i wish they had done that the whole series no im not really a vinnie fan before it gets said but i do like him to be honest for the first time i was happy to see any of the final 5 win they were all good and the **** for brains boo crew in the crowd must feel like complete idiots that nobody got to hear their silly booing

I agree, the crowd seemed to be very energetic and excited... and there were some big BB fans in the crowd you could tell.

I didn't feel like it, the Launch was so much better. Where were the fireworks and everything ? Alex had no reaction, his exit was just boring and pointless, didn't feel like a winner coming out or anything. Something wasn't right about this finale, I mean, as much as I love Davina, she tried too hard to make it awesome and the finalists weren't that bothered about anything, they were all like "yes ok fine good great thanks". No emotion, nothing.
The good point is the crowd which after being a dick on several finales, seemed to redeemed itself and felt involved in the interview instead of booing and shouting for nothing.

It still was nice but definitely not even close to BB5, BB6 and CBB4.

Also - it didn't seem rushed at all! Everything was well planned, we managed to see and be reintroduced to the ex-housemates twice, plenty of VTs and lengthy interviews.

Brill!
