Default Endermol v. Channel 4 POLL.

sticks, my boy, you raise an interesting question that has been festering on various forum boards for some time. BB1 & BB2 we believe were Endermols concept televised, with the help of Bazal. Channel 4 took the idea on as a trial as it seemed viable fanancially. A bit of a gamble, but viable. Just how viable is more or less self-evident.

For BB3, however, a new house and site was necessary. So, as I understand it, correct me if I'm wrong, Channel 4 invested in the concept for a total rights franchise, over a 4 or 5 year period. This gave them a free hand over content, calling on Endermol for advise and PR. My problem with Ch4 is that they have changed the format to be more confrontational, as they percieve this to be "better television". Hence the bars and a divide. It also explains the lightweight nature of the tasks. It may even extend to the make up of the contestants, who seem to have a different agenda to previous years.

So, who do you blame for this years style of Big Brother?
