This is one of the most powerful movies i have ever seen it was made in 1984 for the bbc and depicts britain pre and post nuclear attack by the russians it follows the story of two familys from sheffield and also shows my home town of buxton.
it follows the us army backed by britain accused by the russians of trying to overturn the iranian goverment for their own gain (not so far fetched eh?)
it was shown on the bbc in 1984 and as a 9 year old scared the hell out of me.

This rates as one of the best films i have ever seen
