Bravo to screen Alex Reid's title quest

Fresh from his successful stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house, MMA fighter Alex Reid is set to star in his very own show.

Provisionally titled "Alex Reid: The Fight of his Life," the show will follow the fighter as he travels the globe learning new fighting techniques and skills as part of his preparations ahead of his BAMMA Middleweight Championship bout against Middleweight Ultimate Challenge World Champion Tom "Kong" Watson.

The series will follow Reid throughout his preparations and will feature video diaries, training footage and plenty of action as "The Reidernator" takes part in a range of fighting tournaments and bouts, including Kushti Wrestling, the pressure-point skill of Marma Adi and the lethal military martial art, Krav Maga.

For Reid, the series and the upcoming bout represents a golden opportunity to showcase his skills and test himself against one of the best fighters on the UK MMA scene.

"I'm over the moon to have been given this opportunity to do what I love most," said Reid.

"There will be no glitz and no glamour - me for it's just business. I can't wait to throw myself into learning new skills and bringing something new to the cage.

"No doubt there'll be blood, sweat and frustrations along the way but I just want to get stuck in."
