I know I have bought dvd's and cd's I initially thought were a good idea for my children, given them to them still sealed and only when listening to them or viewing them decided they werent suitable.
The point is: its wrong to just accuse her of saying her music is 'unsuitable'..
he shouldnt let her listen to it!

He didnt accuse her of anything, the comment about Lily Allen was taken slightly out of context, during an interview for Shortlist, he was actually talking about his daughter and himself arguing over the use of the cd player in his car, he mentioned she likes Lily Allen whereas he thought her lyrics are slightly unsuitable for a 6 year old.

This comment was picked up on and has since been exploited not only by his critics, but used by himself to announce he intends a future Conservative Government will take steps to protect children from inappropriate commercialisation and sexualisation. He wants to “make sure that our children get a childhood”.

Though how he intends to go about this god only knows, he did mention removing government advertising from agencies found guilty of inappropriate marketing to children. And providing a website specifically designed for parents to come together and complain about adverts they felt were inappropriate. Whoop whoop dee dooo
