Coronation Street
was at the 7.7m mark for both episodes of its double bill last night (May 28), overnight figures show.

The ITV1 drama attracted 7.69m (39.0%) at 7.30pm and 125k (0.6%) on +1 as Paul asked Eileen to join him at Lesley's funeral, while tensions at the service were witnessed by 7.7m (34.3%) at 8.30pm and 202k (0.9%) on timeshift.

EastEnders, meanwhile, pulled in 7.38m (34.9%) at 8pm - up 220k week-on-week - with the aftermath of Ian's disappearance. BBC Three's repeat screening was seen by 760k (3.9%) at 10pm.

Emmerdale
interested 5.76m (33.3%) at 7pm as Alicia landed herself in hot water by lashing out at Val, while 131k (0.6%) tuned in on ITV1+1.

EastEnders was Tuesday evening's (May 29) most-watched soap with the continuing aftermath of Ian Beale's disappearance, overnight figures show.

The Albert Square soap pulled in 6.75m (35.4%) at 7.30pm on BBC One as Ben and Jay began to fear the worst over Ian. BBC Three's repeat screening secured a strong 853k (4.5%) at 10pm.

Emmerdale, meanwhile, attracted 5.85m (34.0%) at 7pm as Alicia heard that she could be heading to jail, adding 168k (0.9%) an hour later on +1.

Coronation Street grabbed 7.5m on Thursday evening (May 31) as Tommy Duckworth's turmoil continued, overnight figures show.

The ITV1 drama pulled in 7.54m (33.5%) at 8.30pm as Tommy started to crack under the pressure of Rick Neelan's demands, while 258k (1.2%) watched an hour later on +1.

EastEnders, meanwhile, entertained 7m (34.9%) at 7.30pm on BBC One as Phil helped to search for Ian. BBC Three's repeat screening secured a strong 859k (4.5%) at 10pm.

Emmerdale
interested 5.96m (32.3%) at 7pm as Ashley's troubles began to escalate, while the fallout for the ex-vicar was witnessed by 6.44m (30.6%) at 8pm and 209k (1.0%) on timeshift.

The ratings should be a lot stronger, given the season of warm weather seems to have subsided, certainly for now. It's been as cold as an iceberg up here.

Coronation Street was Monday evening's (June 4) most-watched soap with Rita and Dennis's wedding drama, overnight figures show.

Coronation Street pulled in 5.43m (23.1%) at 7.30pm and 135k (0.5%) on +1 as Rita became embroiled in Tina and Tommy's war with Rick Neelan. Later, 5.39m (20.6%) watched at 8.30pm and 238k (0.9%) on timeshift as Rita defied the odds and made it to the ceremony on time.

The figures were dented by coverage of the Diamond Jubilee Concert, which thrilled over 14m viewers on BBC One.

Emmerdale, meanwhile, attracted 5.09m (26.1%) at 7pm and 129k (0.5%) on +1 as troubled Alicia had a showdown with Justin.

Seems Coronation Street held up incredibly well when it was clashing with a show that had a peak of 17 million viewers.

Coronation Street was the most-watched soap on Friday evening (June 1) as the Rick Neelan storyline intensified.

The ITV1 show pulled in 6.98m (36.8%) at 7.30pm and 128k (0.6%) on +1 as Tina discovered what Tommy was up to, while the couple's subsequent showdown with Rick was witnessed by 5.75m (25.5%) at 8.30pm and 352k (1.6%) on timeshift.

EastEnders, meanwhile, entertained 5.74m (25.9%) outside of its usual timeslot at 9pm as Michael refused to give Jean her money back. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 612k (3.2%) at 10pm, while the EastEnders Omnibus appealed to 457k (9.9%) on BBC One from midnight.

Emmerdale interested 5.46m (31.9%) at 7pm and 199k (1.0%) on +1 as Cain paid a visit to Zak, while Hollyoaks had 679k (4.1%) at 6.30pm

EastEnders, meanwhile, pulled in 6.29m (27.6%) at 8pm for an hour-long episode focusing on Michael's elaborate plan to discredit Jean. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 864k (4.8%) at 10pm.

Emmerdale interested 6.17m (31.4%) at 7pm with Gennie's pregnancy news, adding 150k (0.7%) on timeshift.

Coronation Street pulled in 7.69m (32.9%) at 8.30pm on ITV1 as Dev accused Sunita of having an affair, adding a sizeable 316k (1.4%) on +1.

EastEnders, meanwhile, entertained 7.14m (33.1%) at 7.30pm on BBC One as Kat returned to Albert Square. BBC Three's repeat screening had a strong 842k (4.2%) at 10pm.

Emmerdale interested 6.27m (30.7%) at 7pm as Zak took a sad turn for the worse, while 6.83m (30.2%) watched at 8pm and 196k (0.9%) on timeshift as the troubled Dingle patriarch returned to hospital.

Casualty was watched by nearly 4.8m on Friday night as it was moved from its usual Saturday slot.

Rescheduled due to the BBC's commitments to Euro 2012, the medical serial pulled in 4.76m (21%) for the conclusion of a two-part story, entitled 'All in a Day's Nightmare'.

EastEnders gave Casualty a leg-up by recording 6.77m (30.1%) at 8pm. BBC Three's repeat added 716k (3.4%), while 313k (7.6%) watched the omnibus from 12.15am.

Emmerdale was ITV1's only soap to air, grabbing 5.49m (27.4%) at 7pm and 255k (1.4%) an hour later on +1. Coronation Street's usual double bill was not screened because of ITV's football coverage.

Emmerdale dropped to its lowest audience in six years last night (Friday, June 15), according to the latest overnight data.

Due to a delayed Euro 2012 match, the Yorkshire soap was pushed back an hour to 8.30pm, where it mustered 3.64m (13.8%), adding 119k (0.4%) on ITV1 +1.

Like when it sunk to 3.1m during the World Cup in 2006, Emmerdale faced an England match on BBC One, which commanded an average audience of 11m.

The Albert Square soap's hour-long special, centred around Janine's wedding to Michael, was watched by 7.27m (32.5%) at the early time of 7.30pm.

The omnibus also scored 350k (11.1%) from 12.15am on BBC One.

Emmerdale, airing at 6.50pm instead of 7pm due to ITV's football commitments, logged 5.26m (28.6%) and 123k (0.5%) on +1.
