After appearing on Wife Swap Lizzy and Mark Bardsley were branded spongers and layabouts. Their income from state benefits for themselves and their eight kids was over £37,000. The tabloids labelled them "Britain's laziest couple." But they have always argued that they are grafters who have fallen on hard times. Bed and Bardsleys is Lizzy and Mark's opportunity to prove their critics wrong. They have been challenged to run a Blackpool bed and breakfast for two weeks unaided. Its up to them to get up early every day to make breakfast, clean the rooms, work the bar and keep their guests happy. For Lizzy it's no easy task holding her tongue when an endless succession of demanding guests troop in her door. The arrival of Big Brother couple Stuart and Michelle turns Lizzy and Mark's thoughts to romance. They realise that they will always have each other and they finish their Blackpool challenge with a lavish marriage blessing complete with meringue wedding dress, horse and carriage and lots and lots of screaming kids.

I see that Lizzie Bardsley has been quoted as saying Michelle was very possessive with Stu. This from a woman who lasted 3 days on Wife Swap cause she thought her husband would go off with the other wife and was consumed by jealousy

Cheers Bubs, I will try not to let that stupid woman annoy me it's just that this reads like Lizzie makes the comments on the program. It kind of just gives the Mich Haters more ammo really doesn't it. I really think the girl deserves some positive press now, it has been over a year since she left the BB house, jeez even Jade got given some slack after a while.

Well unfortunately, they obviously don't think that they are meant to be, otherwise they would be together. But I don't mean any offence, I do like both Michelle and Stuart.

As for Lizzie Bardsley, she just makes me angry
