Just thinking then, do you approve of artists re-releasing their albums? For example with Rihanna's 2007 album "Good Girl Gone Bad", the Reloaded edition was released the year after with three extra songs. Do you feel annoyed when this happens and that you've wasted your money and should have waited or do you just feel fine to buy the album again with the extra songs added?

It is just really annoying tbh. They should make the full new album and sell that but for the people who already have the original CD there should be like a short CD of the extra songs, I don't know how to explain it

Yeah I do, its a cheap way of milking an album and its kinda unfair on the fans who bought the original release

Depends who, really, and how long the original release was. For example, David Bowie celebrated the 40th anniversary of the 'Space Oddity' album with a rerelease, and I think that's fine. It gave bonus tracks and stuff to the fans, so that's a bonus for them.
I don't really see a problem unless it's something like that Rihanna example. It hasn't been long enough.

Not really. I like having 3 new songs or whatever. Take That's Beautiful World Tour Edition had 3 b-sides and Rule The World which I already had but it had a DVD and new booklet and they don't sell it anymore and I have a signed copy so I'm hoping it's worth something, lol! They released 2 versions of The Circus at the same time and I got both anyways. Fans like having every version.

It depends. If the extra few songs are worth paying a bit more for, then fine. If they're shit, like most of the reloaded albums are, then I would say it's not.
Then again, I don't pay for music much any more, anyway.

I think it's a rip off. Just a chance for the record companies to sell some more copies, as they know some people will buy the new "deluxe" version who previously bought the original.
