Injuries from explosions: Minor Potassium burn but apart from that I seem to have been quite lucky!

I'd most like to blow up: Cars in my way on the motorway

What scares you more - blowing up caravans or living in the Big Brother house?: Easy - the BB House. We know what is going to happen (most of the time!) when we blow up caravans. We never knew what was going to happen next in the Big Brother House - I don't like not being in control of things.

Who would you most like to Tickle and tease?: Don't tell Paul Bettany (her husband) but I have thought for many years that Jennifer Connelly is the most beautiful woman in the world.

You came up with a time delay toaster idea; if you could make one object indestructible what would it be?: Laptops. I can't do without mine. It goes everywhere with me and organizes my life - I would be lost without it. Unfortunately, my laptop is bashed around so much that it breaks quite frequently and then life has to be put on hold until it is repaired.

What is your favourite piece of lab equipment?: The electron microscope. The first time that I used one I felt like I had been shown a new kind of magic.

Carol Vorderman or Johnny Ball?: Difficult. Johnny Ball because I have met him and because he was one of my childhood heroes and he was probably the first person to awaken my interest in science.
