'Marvel vs Capcom 3' confirmed?

Capcom has allegedly unveiled a third instalment in its Marvel vs Capcom series, PlanetXbox360 reports.

According to the website, the studio showcased the superhero-themed fighter at its Captivate press event earlier this week.

The game is reportedly rendered in HD and comprises Street Fighter IV-like visuals with the last Marvel vs Capcom game's 2D style. Wolverine, Spider-Man, The Hulk, Magneto and Storm will return as playable characters, but a full roster is yet to be confirmed.

Further details of the title are expected to be announced next week and a full reveal is thought to be planned for this year's E3.

The report also noted that Capcom is developing a sequel to Bionic Commando: Rearmed.

I loved the other MVC games.

I can't wait. It looks amazing, I'm kinda disapointed to see Chris in it since it probably means that Jill's not gonna be in it and she was one of my favourite characters on the other one.
