Yep the yanks would simply fit air intake filters on turboprop aircraft and particulate filters on turbofan engines. Simples. (except for the cost).

haha theyd just put the planes up...do you really see america lsoing that much money because of the cloud? theyd send planes regardless......(which is what should be done anyway) they wouldnt just sit back and wait a week or 2 or possibly a month....
