Default The Guardian Paper Dumps New Labour

They now support LiDems.

The Times and Sunday Telegraph Support Conservatives.

Just one little paper supports New Labour - The Mirror.

It doesn't surprise me that the mealy mouthed, politically correct Guardian has dumped the Labour losers - they can see the writing on the wall and, typical of Labour and its supporters, have readily ditched their so called principles to save face. If I were Nick Clegg I would be concerned about being linked to that Labour rag since mud sticks by association.

I think its so wrong that newspapers can so openly support a political party
There needs to be some kind of regulation to stop this, like in TV news, because its not giving the public news but just pages of half told biased stories.
The Sun, Daily Mail and Daily Mirror are the worst for it.
The Guardian isn't so bad, even though it leans towards the left, I see many positive and negative stories on all 3 parties.

I don't think its wrong because I support Labour. If all the newspapers were backing Labour I would still think it is wrong. I don't agree with the Daily Mirror and they support Labour very obviously that it can't be taken seriously.

This Nation will not change overnight.

Look at Glegg he can never be a PM due to a out dated old system of voting.

Until The Politics get Updated
then I think why the hell should newspapers change.

New Labour had 13 long years to change things
they Failed and will be Six Feet Under on Election Day.

That's all well and good arista, but its not really commenting on the fact that newspapers should stop being bias, especially due to their name newspapers

And which is the one party that insists we stick with FPTP? The Conservatives.

A lot of people are deserting Labour, which is no surprise as they're more Tory than the Tory party.

Private schools for their kids, state school for ours; Private health care for their families, NHS and long queues for ours; Ownership of (sometimes) several homes, unable to get on the housing ladder for us, whilst social housing prioritises immigrants over everyone; Leafy suburbs for their families, inner city overcrowding for us; Peerages for them and their cronies, redundancies and the dole queue for us: In all a bunch of MPs who are thieving, lying war criminals who have escaped justice.

It's obvious who all of the above refers to so good riddance to New Labour scum on Thursday!

I agree with Chewy. Newspapers are there to deliver the news.. not to take sides. Especially broadsheet newspapers like the guardian.

The Guardian has always been slightly left of centre in its political views and editing.

Of course newspapers have political allegiances, they are run by human beings with thoughts, opinions and beliefs. The way that news is reported can never be entirely objective and it is naive to believe otherwise.

How about people taking responsibility for their own opinions rather than swallowing what the newspapers say without question? But I guess that involves reading all the manifestos and making considered decisions as to what is and is not important for the country and yourself. It's probably far easier and less effort to just spout off party mantra without any input from your brain at all.
