Does that happen to anyone? Once the song you like best off an album becomes a single you can't really listen to it anymore? It's annoying for me anyway lol

This is actually my life, I hate it when the best track gets released and it loses it's appeal because everyone knows it.

Yes, this happens with me a lot, I got Rated R a couple days after it came out, and I instantly loved Rude Boy, but now if it comes on I just skip it, because I'm bored of it

Yup. But also I often find that I can like a song from a while ago and then for some reason everyone suddenly likes it again, that irritates me. I just don't really enjoy liking a song then having every other bugar jump on the band wagon :L

It can go either way for me. If I really love an album track I want them to release it as a single. But then I hear it too much.
But I really love Alex Burkes All night long more now than I have on the album. Same with Telephone. Some songs are just more durable and can stand repeated play without annoyance. |

Yeah definitely. I rarely discover new artists through hearing their singles on the radio or TV or whatever, so if I'm into someone and they have a huge smash, chances are I've heard it for months before it got huge and I'm sick of it by the time its released.

It depends. Sometimes I won't notice a track till it's a single. Other times it being a single makes me love the song more. And then there's yeah there's going off it completely.

Sometimes I get sick of things if I heard them ages before they were popular because I went through the phase of loving it; but I also hate when songs get released and become popular under a different form to the original; most recent example being David Guetta's Gettin' Over which I heard with just Chris Willis; now it has Fergie and LMFAO raping it and I don't like it anymore.
