Don't normally buy a paper.

Like Ruth I usually find out news from the TV, or by browsing the Internet.

OK .... I'm Scottish ...... why spend money when you can find out for free?

I read the local paper here and also have a look at online versions of Telegraph and Guardian from time to time.

Sometimes buy a handily-sized tabloid version of an Independent or Times to read on a train, but that is an exception rather than rule. Much cheaper to read online. Google News is excellent as is Newsnow.

Also look at online versions of Sun, Mirror etc. for Big Brother stories - they help to keep this site ticking over. And I access the Pressdisplay site (you have to pay for it) for an online edition of the Daily Star - the one newspaper which has a Big Brother story in it every day - almost.

So the only newspaper I usually pay for is the Daily Star. The things I do for this site!

... and it's much appreciated! I would NEVER be able to go into my local Tesco's again if someone spotted me with a copy of the Daily Star in my hand!
