Rumours have surfaced suggesting that the first eviction of Big Brother 11 will air on Thursday 17th June, a day earlier than expected.
Promoting the ‘Final Big Brother party’ – which takes place on the 17th - on Digital Spy, BB9’s Bex said: “We’re aiming to get many ex- housemates together for a big p*ss-up. We’ll be playing the eviction live!”
Previously, Bex said that the party would coincide with ‘the launch’ on June 3rd, but the party was later rescheduled. Big Brother 11 is now likely to begin on Wednesday 9th June.
It is possible that Channel 4 would bring the first eviction forward to avoid a clash with the England vs. Algeria World Cup match on Friday 18th June.
Should England progress to the quarter-finals, the Friday 2nd July eviction may also be affected.
However, planning restrictions at the Elstree compound limit bosses to holding no more than five non-Friday live shows a year, so it is unlikely that a permanent move is on the cards.
To reiterate, this is just a rumour for now. We’ll have more details as we get them.
