A beauty partlour that will only cater for good looking homosexuals? Isn't that discrimination? Imagine the uproar if they opened a beauty salon and said it would cater for good looking heterosexuals.

Dear god, that's ridiculous.

...Think I'll open up a beauty salon just for us bisexuals, that way I can piss off gay people AND straight people!

Ok I think it is wkd that they are opening a beauty salon 2gether this may the start of a weird and wonderful relationship between them and will let gays roam more freely than getting discriminated all the time

Yes but why say only homosexuals? What does someone's sexuality have to do with the fact that they need a hair cut? Ruth made an excellent point earlier on that if it was the other way around and and it was only hetrosexuals there would have been uproar, but because they are a minority they can get away with things like that. It's discrimination, and nothing justifies that.

So you think discrimination is wrong, yet it's alright for Kemal and Ricardo to practice discrimination? You seem to be contradicting yourself

Thanks cc100, proving my exact point. If he did that, there would be uproar. However, Kemal and Ricardo and get away with it.

You know what though?

Let them get on with it. They probably didn't say those exact words, as I remember they both love the company of women and wouldn't want to ban them.

If they did - well ...........'Whatever!'

aw dat's cute dat is good on kemal , good on you babydoll , although i thought we were opening a fashion designing shop together , oh well we still can , you can have two businesses , one in a beauty salon and one in a fashion designing shop , oh my days that would so cool , and the reason why kemal and ricardo might be opening up a beauty salon together might be the fact not many people who are straight get bullied and singled out as the people who were homosexual might do which is pretty sad i think to pick on someone for their sexuality , that's what's so gay , not the ppl who are gay , kemal is a ,lovely person , i should know i met him at waterstones book signing back in august

You're quite right babydoll, it's wrong to pick on someone because of their sexuality. However sadly, people get picked on for all sorts of reasons, not just because of their sexuality.

If (and it's a big if) they are going to cater solely for "good looking homosexuals" they are picking on people who they don't class as good looking, and causing division because of their own sexuality.

What I'm trying to say is that if people want acceptance, they have to show acceptance to others - if Kemal and Ricardo actually did say that, they are showing prejudice themselves.
