i agree with the libertines being "indie dribble" although i do like them.
The strokes however are just amazing with is this it being one of the best albums, in my opinion, of all time

Noo, I think Room on fire was the worst out of the three but still Room on fire was amazing.
The strokes playing isle of wight were also truly spectacular, they have shown they've still got it!

I quite liked "Hard to Explain" back in the day. I think they were sadly victims of their own hype though as they could never live up to the hysterical praise they received from the mainstream music press.

New York has produced far, far better indie rock bands.
