11 weeks takes it to 27th August if it's a traditional Friday finish.

The extra 2weeks takes it to the 10th Sept.

Norrmal BB as we know it runs for 11 weeks. Then there is the extended bit with the ex-housemates for another 2 weeks.

Since BB7 the show has been on for at least 13 weeks. Where does the ex-housemates come into it?

Let me re-phrase.

The 'normal' BB we know will run for 11 weeks this year. Then there is an extension of 2 weeks where the winner of the BB11 is joined, in the house, by a selection of other classic ex-housemates.

So basically, as Davina said on her interview today...

Big Brother 11 - as we know it will run for 11 WEEKS
The winner will be crowned,they will get their money but they will not be leaving the house. They will stay in the house awaiting Davina to "go get them" - however, Davina won't be going getting them, in fact she's just going to dump a load of ex-housemates from the past 11 series (including winners, ex-housemates and even celebrity housemates from CBB) in there with the winner of BB11. Then it will work like BB for 2 weeks with evictions and what not (kinda like how CBB works...)
Then, when the winner of BB11 is evicted within the last 2 weks, they will get their winners interview and what-not then.

only 11 weeks long for the very last ever BB then we are being short changed.......The two weeks extra of old housemates is just old hat and a pointless gimmick that will see old hated housemates return much to the annoyance of those that voted them out.........If they are not the hated housemates then it will just be a pontless bore.........

All in all last year short changed.........Shame........
