He normally never watches BB but auditioned and got to the 81 and was gutted when he wasnt picked, all his mates are all saying they wont watch as he's not in, but its likely he might have another chance later on. When his frends said "Are you going to watch the show?" He said...

"I'm going to have to, I never watch it normally but Ife was in my small group and she is an absoloute diamond, she has to win"

Glad to see he is watching for the first time and supporting Ife, they became good friends apparently

He told all his friends, if he doesnt get in there, they should all vote for Ife because she's the sweetest.

I guess you can see it this way... most people who got that 'Top 80' group never make it into the house or near it and in a way its the 'worst case' because they probably did a helluva lot of effort, travel and expenses and its the same as being rejected from the first round.

In this case the top 81 did make it 'onto Big Brother' and were part of 'Day One' as well as all the other promotions and pre-BB special,
and,
they can say they really were 'in Big Brother' and were part of it and were featured in one of the highest rated television programs this year!
and,
Hey what a great experience!
They were 'Launch Night' and they were all part of the BB experience.

So your cousin might be disappointed but look at the bright side here and let them appreciate what they DID do and were part of.

Sorry, I think I confused you and should have been more careful to write...

Most people who got that 'Top 80' group, in previous seasons, never make it into the house or near it.

In most previous seasons that top tier of hopefuls who 'almost made it' were simply gone home and never participated in a thing outside a hotel room and some BB staff.
(which is still a unique experience but never part of the program)

So what I'm saying is your cousin has really gone further than most ever did and, at least, did get to be part of Big Brother, be on the program and participate in Day One. I'd say that is pretty damn good!

Hey.. they were a player in one of the most watched programs in the UK!
Most professional actors don't even get that!
So I understand he (or she?) is really disappointed - but - see the glass as half-full too!
