Well there wouldn't be a forum called 'Websites' if you weren't, would there?

But that is what the rules say.

We are not allowed to advertise our own sites.

The point of the websites forum is to bring other websites to our attention that members here would be interested in.

I think - despite what it says in the rules - it's okay to mention your own site once or twice, if you think it would be of interest to the members here.

Continually posting the same urls would get a bit boring, whether it is a member's site or otherwise.

If that is the case, then I had just wanted to mention that I had been revisiting one of my sites by adding CSS to restyle it, updating something obviously out of date and adding a site related discussion forum

I had then seen the rules thread and so stopped.

if it is ok to mention it once, here is the link
