I was actually being sarcastic. CharlotteSometimes accused me of being anti-women because I dont like Madonna, so I was just using her logic in the same way she judged me.

I was pointing out how ludicrous it is.

We are allowed to have different opinions.

I think cc is right, you can't call Will Young all those things Charlotte, because many of those points are a) against him as a person, and b) just because you don't like his music, doesn't mean he "can't sing".

Quite a big acting debut against Judy Dench and Bob Hoskins, playing a singing/dancing camp cabaret artist in the Windmill Theatre.
It was the film's Premiere in London tonight, ROB .....

Scrubs up quite well!

No, you were clearly looking for an argument. And no I didn't. You invented that claim when you ran out of points, as anyone that reads the thread concerned can clearly see. Nor did anybody 'judge' you. Why do you feel the need to turn everything into some bizarre Shakespearean drama? Continually making spurious allegations against other people will ultimately reflect badly on you and nobody else. Please accept once and for all that it wasn't me that stole your conkers.

Thanks for your comments, jrc.

None of the comments I made about him are "against him as a person" at all. Nor did I say that he can't sing - which for some strange reason you've posted with quotation marks. I said that he has a weak voice with no range. Do you think he has a powerful voice, with a good range? If people like him or dislike him, that's their choice. The thread invites comments on what people think of him / his music, which is what my comments reflect - my personal opinion.

^Just like none of the comments I made with regards Madonna were against her as a person or as a woman. I just dont like her music.

BTW- I think calling someone arrogant and plummy is a rather personal attack.

Well actually they were - your comments were blatantly ageist.

If you'd bothered to read the thread correctly, you'd have realised that the 'arrogant' observation was retracted (not a concept your familiar with, I know). And he is indeed plummy. As he isn't a member of this forum, it's not a "personal attack" at all.

Well my comments were not intended to be 'ageist', and if they come across that way, then too bad.

Its funny how you change the argument to suit yourself. At first I was a woman hater, and now youve realised how daft that is, Im ageist!

Whoopie doo for you.

An 'argument' requires two or more participants that have a point. As you never did, there can't have been any argument. Yet again you resort to fabrication, as yet again you're stranded without a point. It's like watching a moth crashing into a lightbulb, ad infinitum.

I really want to see the movie Mrs Henderson; Judi Dench is in it, and she's always worth watching. Will is supposed to be very good in it too. Do you think that he will continue with more acting roles, or stick to the singing?

Its quite sad how obssessed you seem with my opinions.

You confuse pity with obsession.

No, of course you couldn't. That's why you keep quoting them and getting all pouty when you realise that you were wrong - yet again.

None of whom are singers, or relevant to the original debate.

I think we've already explored the definition of the word 'argument', and found yours to be severely lacking. Everything I've posted since you began your tedious crusade has been 100% accurate. Given the uncanny similarities between the content you post and slabs of prime Emmental, your use of the word 'holes' is frankly bizarre.
