I don't like her but she didn't choose her name and I heard - not sure if true or not - that she wanted them to use 'Keeva'. Ultimately what name is used is up to Endemol.

Its the name her parents gave her, why should she feel the need to change it because you think it sounds weird/pretentious etc.

Caoimhe is an Irish name, with an irish spelling. Nothing pretentious about it. Its a very common name here, why should it be change because some people cannot say it. Its not rocket science, listen to it said once and hey presto you've got it!

Not pretentious, Irish. Who knows whats going on with so many Irish names. My daughters name is Sinead. But theres no 'H'. Go figure.

The girl's name Caoimhe \

ca(oi)-m

he,

caoim-

he\ is pronounced KEE-va, KWEE-va. It is of Irish and Gaelic origin, and its meaning is "gentle, graceful, beautiful".

What we can't believe is, you think your inability to cope with a foreign name, leads you to call for a spelling change.

So are you saying Siobhan should be spelled 'Shivawn', Mairead should be spelled 'Marayde'? Sad.

Obviously just another troll. Who will more than likely stick around untouched by the mods like all the other trolls.

It's fun driving TiBB into the ground, innit?

My name is Billy. My last name is actually Bob. There is nothing difficult to understand about my name and everyone I know has regular, easy to pronounce names, like Jack, Harry and Steve.

Caoimhe should be pronounced totally differently from Keeva.

It's like saying the name Christopher should be pronounced Winston. Pitiful!
It should be spelt whatever way her parents wanted to spell it fgs.

That's like saying Sree should have had his name changed legally to Shree.

I was just about to use Siobhan as an example.

Sean as Shawn?

Niamh as Neeve

Seamus as SHAYMOS
