I was just wondering wether the avatar size limit could be increased, because im finding it hard to find an avatar that fits

When forums have big avators, it makes the board uneven and a tad messy, so I think thats the reason.

Board Rules: An uploadable avatar's width can be no greater than 150 pixels, a height no greater than 160 pixels and a file size no more than 120000 bytes.
You can use a bigger picture for your avatar, but when you upload it to the site, it will be resized automatically. Or ..... point me in the direction of the pic you'd like to use and I'll try to resize it for you. ![]() Quote:

As Kaz said the picture will be resized when you upload it.
The easy way to use a large picture as an avatar is to save it to your computer first - right-click on it and go to 'Save Picture As'. Then select it next to 'Upload avatar from your computer' in Edit Profile. |

o right cool, yer i was wondering if saving it to your computer first might help this problem, woops i didnt realise how big 600x500 was sorry

I have a picture but the file size is too big. Just wondering if that could be changed?
