About 200 FY1s and FY2s, a few awaiting FTP panels following suspension for illness, several dozen researchers and few recent PhD graduates. Why?

Most junior doctors are quite poor, as are a lot of medical students, their families may be quite rich, doesnt mean they are.

Once they qualify some doctors remain quite poor for a few years, paying off students loans etc.

Its later in life after gaining experience, specialising etc that they start rolling in sickening amounts of money.

I know a few poor YOUNG doctors and Vets.
As they get older and have been in the idustry longer, thats when they become richer
