Dave is actually clearly homophobic. He clearly thinks gay is wrong and that the bible says its wrong.


He thinks they can be 'redeemed' though, and that although the act itself is wrong the person inside is 'rescuable'. He moves amongst them, as Jesus moved amongst the sinful, in order to bring them back into 'God's Glory'.

He dosent hate people, he thinks every man is still basically good in his heart and not lost to god, but he openly admits the act of homosexuality is a bad thing.

If Dave is deeply religious then he must be homophobic. But, as is always the case with idiotic prejudices now he's met someone who he's supposed to hate has found that he actually quite likes him. This could also explain why you like your nan Simon.

I do think he's right about Mario though. Mario is far too sensitive toward Ben. He made a play and cant handle rejection.

Some are confusing beliefs with attitudes.......Someone with a belief is not homophobic. Someone with an attitude is.......

I am not religious by any means but if a person has a religious belief and that belief indicates that certain activities are wrong according to the religion then all that Dave is doing is following to the letter his religion......Most would respect the fact people have a right to beliefs even if one does not agree with them......

Personal attitudes are a different kettel of fish altogether......I'm defending Dave and I don't even like him....What i am defending is another persons right to their belief without being labelled by the short sighted holier than though brigade.........Beliefs are often wrong but that does not mean people are villains because they have them....They are just misguided......As far as we know!!!!!!!!
