I am glad to see that Shane MacGowan is looking like a possible housmate.It will be great to have a bit of intelligence in there for once.Its about time people started looking past the fact Shane has no teeth and likes a drink and see the man for the bloody genius he is.

Is he still on the bottle,as much?If so no way could he enter the house and abide by there rules,I was amazed that Bez could....not sure if I could for that matter.

I think the man is wonderful.If the rumours are to be believed he has been into rehab.I spotted him drinking pints of water in a bar,so hopefully he will be gracing our screens tonight .He would be more intresting to watch than that prat out of blue putting on a show for the viewers.Shane is real.

I like Shane too but I think that house might be too much for him - when he was on a BBc programme xmas week with Jonathan Ross and singing the streets of New York with Katie Melua? he had a few on him so I dont think he is off the drink and if he is it might send him back on it - that house tends to bring out the worst in people and sometimes the best -Im afraid that is one of the reasons we like to watch
