Robyn’s ‘Body Talk Pt. 1′ album may only be hitting stores this week, but the Swedish pop princess is already preparing to release part 2 of her new Body Talk series this August. Billboard have reported that the ‘Body Talk Pt. 2′ will drop in the UK on August 2, while a US release is still in the process of being confirmed.
The third and final Body Talk album will then be released at the end of the year in time for Christmas, and will feature the best cuts from the first two installments of the series as well as several brand new tracks.
At the moment Robyn is pretty busy touring and meeting promotional obligations, but she’s also found time to hit the recording studio for ‘Body Talk. Pt 2‘, which recently included a session with Snoop Dogg.
Robyn’s new single “Dancing on my Own” was sent to non-commercial radio last month in the US, which Cherrytree Records president Martin Kierszenbaum is hoping will allow the song to grow organically in the same way that La Roux’s breakthrough hit “Bulletproof” did.
“We’re going to build the cultural context before we get to mainstream,” Kierszenbaum says. “We will grow it organically and incrementally as with Gaga and La Roux.”
As of now, “Fembot” has already gone top ten in Norway and Sweden, while “Dancing on my Own” has also achieved the same feat, in addition to cracking the top twenty of the Billboard club play charts this week. “Dancing on my Own” has just been released in the UK and has already been A-listed at national top forty radio, so a high debut chart position is expected.
Looks like we’ll be seeing a lot more of Robyn throughout 2010!

Can't wait!! Body Talk pt. 1 is a brilliant, diverse CD (though only 8 tracks long) using electro, dancehall, "pop" and also almost accapella easy-listening and Swedish-language.
Looks like pt. 2 will be even more diverse judging by the collaboration with Snoop Dogg!
Any other Robyn fans?
