Big Brother may be criticized for giving Chantelle the task of pretending to be part of a ficticious band, but long term this will actually help Chantelle earn her celebrity status in her own right. Had they not given her this task, she would have left the house, done a few interviews and faded back into obscurity earning a few quid as a Paris Hilton lookalikey.

It's because of her likeable personality and predicament in a house of celebrities that Chantelle's won the affections of the public and built up a fan base. And I think once the show is over channel 4 will give Chantelle the rights to release "I Want It Right Now" with a record company which I have no doubts will become an instant hit propelling her to stardom. So the future definitely looks rosey for Chantelle.

Personally I think the song is dreadful and Chantelle couldn't sing her way out of a paper bag. But this hasn't stopped others having chart success including the abhorrent and Queen of the talent vacuums, Nadia Whatsherface.

Does chantelle actually want to be a singer? I think she will develope her modeling carear but I cant see her wanting to be in "kandyfloss" lol.

Yer and Nadia hardly had chart success unless you call selling about a 1,000 copy's success.

I think she'll do whatever earns her money while her celebrity status remains alive. Only when it begins to fade that she'll turn to a career in modelling.

I'm glad. I think she will do really well for herself.... it's not the same situation as all the other BB HM's who just fade away after 15 minutes of exitiong the house.. well with the exception of Jade who I think is very similar to Chantelle.

It's Almada by the way, not Whatsherface.

I think I Want It Right Now would be fantastic as a one hit wonder, charity single. It'd do so well as a charity song!
PS- Nadias song got in Top 20 didnt it? Oh well

I hope Chantelle develops as a good succesful model.

I can't see it being for charity. Those behind the idea would want to cash in on its success.

I think this is a back door X factor launch of a new 5 minute wonder, very clever. Joe public she isn't - she's already done appearances as Paris Hilton's bouble, has an agency - I think it's another way to make cash by BB - the single is already recorded! After her performance last night - the music is too polished "Pop Idol/X-factor" style & I don't buy the idea of a non celebrity idea. It's very clever - she will get through & the single will sell - Chantelle is being "launched" right now & will have 5 mins of fame. Both she & BB will make cash - I feel conned! I admired her for doing well - but now, it's too well to be true!
