Default youve got to admit, this is one of the worst big brothers!

the housemates are so boring compared to previous years! big brother producers havent put housemates in who are likely to form romantic relationships, i.i theyve put old men or gay men in. but to be fair the housemates are just dull dull dull. the only storyline is josie and john james, its the only storyline in the whole of the series, and even so its a rly borign storyline because john james aint interested! and hes bloody annoying! what were the producers thinking when they put the likes of dave and steve in the house!

what do you think? surely this cant be anyones favourite bb?

Indeed it is, I'm so disappointed this year.

And I cannot stand this assumption that because I don't like it, I shouldn't watch. I'm a Big Brother fan until the end. I will watch whether it is sh!t or not.

The reason I'm complaining is cause I want it to be as good as possible, considering it's my favourite show, I'm not doing it for the sake of it.

All you people moaning are aware that watching BB is not compulsory, right? And if it's so boring, why are you here on a forum discussing it? If it's so boring, what's to discuss??

because we are big brother fans and this is the last series so we wanted it to be good! It has actually made me realise why its been axed. its getting worse and worse. i will still watch it, im not gonna lie, i have nothing better to do and theres nothing on tv, though if there is, id watch it over bb.

the characters are not loud and outgoing enough, and most are old!

your pathetic bitching has no effect on the show though the only thing it does achieve is to annoy other forum users.

It is pretty bad tbh, but I'm still hoping it might pick up with more newbies going in.

At the moment it's third worst ever for me, after BB4 and BB8.

Old? Most are old?? I think Big Brother may be on past your bedtime. Kids don't rule the world. I know you think you do, but you don't. It is BB. It is not CBBC. If you want a load of rampant teenagers pouting at each other, watch Hollyoaks.

Personally I am enjoying this series, and it seems a lot of others are too.

It definitely isn't. BB7 had legendary moments and well picked housemates. It had the golden ticket winner thing, the house next door, the comback kids and the controversy involved in that, the prision task and all the housemates were well picked.

Bitching

If you [or other forum users] let someone's negative opinion of a television show annoy you, then more fool you.

As with everything, I will praise and criticise when necessary.

I like how the Housemates aren't over-the-top. It's the lack of creativity from the Producers that sickens me. Things are so routine this year.

Strongly disagree but it depends on what you want:

-IF you are just interested in seeing outrageous extroverts acting out in outrageous behavior and saying crazy and funny things while constantly fighting/effing/vomiting/drinking etc,
then?
You probably find yourself disappointed.. at least after SHABBBBY!!! left the house.

IF you are someone keenly interested in the 'Big Brother Concept' which is saying the 'grab' is the socio-psychological aspects focusing on:
- what social dynamics occur by mixing and isolating different sorts of people into one household
- what happens to people being recorded at all times 24/7 and for weeks and months
- how do certain people react to structured living at the hands of a 'dictator' (BB) who may be benevolent, benign or bullying?

Among other things, these are things that some of us find fascinating and are the aspects which we call 'entertaining'.
So,
IF you define 'entertainment' in that latter BB-purist sense then this is a great season.

IF you are in that former sense of just wanting to see people on telly doing and saying loud and outrageous things?
Maybe a Jerry Springer Box Set?
BB10 for you?
You might find a reality show called 'Jersey Shore' online because that may be what you are looking for.

BB11 (with the exception of the 2-3 weeks I missed while Shabby ruined things) BB11 is turning into a great final season. Not 'amazing' yet although I am still seeing some potential to be realized.
Lets hope.
It may very well become a 'top 3' for me.

I do think it might be the best cast overall.

I don't have to admit anything - I'm enjoying it.
It's the last series people, stop trying to expect things from it and just enjoy it without moaning!
