If the HMs started winding him up, e.g. by playing pranks etc, would Sam take it with a good-humoured laugh?

I somehow doubt it.... things could get nasty.

TBH, I suspect the little shrimp is all mouth.

If someone like JJ2 threatened him he would crumble. Sam looked pretty scared even when JJ2 was pulling at the key he was wearing around his neck!

I'd say he is well used to slaging matches and has a fairly thick skin at this stage.
I'm not sure what you mean by brittle, but if they start winding him up, he will feed off it.

Yeh unlike Ben I don't think he takes himself too seriously. That's one of the reasons why him and Dave are probably my favourites at present.
