Default Was BB right to give Sam a warning for 'teabagging'?

Do you think BB was right to do this. It seems to me that they may have only did it because Josie used the phrase 'sexual harrassment'. I thought Josie threw something at Sam in the garden first. Is this not dangerous? It could have hit him in the eye and he would have ended up like Steve. Where was her warning for that? When the other HM's put the 'thumb gum' on Sam's toothbrush we were told it had been prescribed for Josie. Are there not warnings on all prescribed medication that it shouldn't be taken by anyone else? What if Sam were allergic?
Are we the viewers so offended by the teabagging, with everything we've seen over the years on BB. When BB had the male stripper in the house for the ignore task, he was trusting his crotch in everyones face. Double standards and inconsistency, these are what have killed BB. By the way I am loving Sam. At last we have a newbies who is not interested in going in and just 'blending'.
Peace out Sam

Well he had done it at least twice and I think they just didnt want him to keep doing that sort of thing. It can come across worse than it is on TV, especially live feed when you may not see close up.

And he did pre-empty the warning by saying he knew it was wrong so...

I didn't see the full lead up to it, only him mounting her face.

There was a similar incident on Australian Big Brother a few years which got a lot of attention. One guy held a girl down and the other teabagged her. Both the guys got ejected.

That sounds more serious when someone is held down and its 2 versus 1. Its not that I have a problem with the warning as such, but it should have been balanced out by other warnings about throwing objects and the thumb gum incident. I wonder BB would have bothered if Josie hadn't mentioned 'sexual harrassment'

I do agree it does sound more serious. We don't know what warnings the other housemates got for their actions unfortunately.

I think in the past housemates have had warnings about throwing stuff.

This is true and there may well have been other warnings, but once again BB bias is just showing Sam's warning. They know in doing this it turns all Josie's fans against Sam and therefore doesn't give him a chance when he is up for eviction. (which will be as soon as he can be nominated, judging their discomfort with him!)

I don't think it cam across as fun for mot viewers ( I could be wrong) but I believe BB just wanted to nip it in the butt in case it got out of hand.

No pun intended, honest)

Or is it nip it in he bud ?

He rubbed his crotch on her mouth. It IS sexual harrassment. Simple as that, nothing to debate here.

Well some people say that there is always a debate, however whether it was or wasn't, Sam is not the only one who should have been seen to be getting a warning. Throwing objects is dangerous. Giving someone prescribed medication is reckless. BB's lack of consistency and bias is soooooo tedious

I'd say YES but they also added that not only for Josie but it could be something that may offend people watching the programme too.Which begs a further point, what could not be offensive to thepaying, viewing voting public in hearing a housemate in any context say F.. THE PUBLIC, I DON'T GIVE A F... FOR THE PUBLIC, by John James that didn't even warrant him being pulled up about it so there are a few double standards from BB on that one.

I love Sam but I think it was a fair warning. I dont think Josie herself was hugely offended but most women would be if it kept happening by a relative stranger. And its on TV so CH4 have to think about the message it may send out; that its ok for guys to thrust their crotch in womens faces for a laugh.

And its really not the same as throwing things etc either.

I am loving Sam for the way he has livened the house up, but he does need reigning in now and then, the warning seemes fair to me.

well if he did "pre-empty" than that's fine then is it? If I warn someone that I'm going to punch them in the nose that makes it fine too? Strange.

I wish bb would 'pre-empty' us when they are going to televise the Josie/JJ show - then we could switch off!

Excellent point - its not whether the teabagging offends or not cos thats a matter of opinion. Its BB's double standards which seem to be worse this year than any other. No matter what rules are broken its a case of should we take away hot water? should we take away the food budget? should we stop people from nominating? Perhaps we will, perhaps we wont, depends whether we can be arsed or not.

Yeah its always strange how anything involving something sexual apparantly is worse than any aggressive act

My point was that he acknowledged he was in the wrong before it even needed to be spelt out.

FFS do I have to draw diagrams for the likes of you?

No, they were having a laugh and BB had to go ruin it like always. If they asked Josie if it offended her and she said it did then it was fair to warn him but Josie said she didnt care.

Well said.

Sam is a wanker. If he did that in the outside world he get arrested.

One day Sam is going to come up against someone who won't be as polite as Josie.
