I'm mentioning Sam in my thread title so that it looks like an on topic post because to be quite honest the fact that no off topic posts are allowed here is quite ridiculous since this is the only really active part of this forum and this is the only online chat facility that I really use at the moment.

In short, I want to watch a horror film and would like some of you here to provide me with suggestions. Sam is not relevant.

Understood.

Zombie film, Dawn of the dead (70s version) or remake if you don't like old stuff, actually watched zombieland other day and was better than i expected.

Slasher film light=Halloween 1/2 back to back would be good or hills have eyes remake if you don't like old stuff, heavy=wolfcreek

Difficult to suggest without knowing your preference.

Damn I've seen all of them haha, other than Halloween 2. Thanks for the suggestions though. And yeah Zombieland is magnificent. I love apocalyptic stuff, watching Dead Set yesterday put me in this mood damn it.

Y'know I don't understand why there isn't a proper zombie apocalypse television series! Dead Set was a mini-series. I'm on about an actual television series with the kinda' subject matter of 28 Days Later, Dead Set, maybe I Am Legend or Zombieland. It'd be so cool.

They are making a one in an america called "The Walking Dead" it is based on a comic book. We will get it eventually or download/buy.

You could try "diary of the dead" it is an aquired taste but is about survival during a zombie apocolypse from handheld cameras etc a bit like cloverfield only better pedigree (from original writer of the "of the dead" series)

damn seen diary of the dead and cloverfield too. I've seen too many of them man I'm running out of new ones to watch haha... hmmm... may watch Halloween 2. Really wanting to watch an apocalypse type filmt though.

OOH! I just remembered there's a film called Legion with Kevin Durand in it, where they're at a diner during an apocalypse or somethin'... just IMDb'd it though and it's overall rating is 5 out of 10 (bad)... by the time I decide what film to watch I'll have to go to bed

Mad Max 2 is probably the best apocolypse film, The Road (not really entertaining though), Omega man with charlton heston's only decent acting performance or conquest of the planet of the apes which is not everyones cup of tea.
